I started lifeguarding when I was 16 and have not looked back. While you will not find me on the beach or pool deck as much any more, I have been an active volunteer and supporter of the Lifesaving Society.
In 2020, I moved from volunteer to staff and took on the role of Executive Director of the Lifesaving Society in Nova Scotia. I am proud of the work that we do, and all of the staff work hard on our drowning prevention mission.
In addition to training lifeguards and leadership candidates, I am active in Lifesaving Sport and research.
